It provides room for each individual to actively contribute and engage in the process of solving problems. A smaller group allows more interaction and less domination by one or two people.
- Lecturer Role as Faciliator In a discussion-based teaching model, the professor no longer acts as the only source of knowledge, but as a facilitator that guides discussions. The professor can provide guidance by asking questions that lead to critical thinking, to challenge, or to direct students when they're facing a stalemate.
